Denali

Alaska's Denali National Park is dominated by the continent's highest peak — 20,310 feet above sea level and visible from 200 miles away on a clear day. The park's six million acres protect an ecosystem largely unchanged since the last ice age: open tundra ablaze with autumn colour, vast glaciers, boreal forest, and the full arc of subarctic wildlife including grizzly bears, wolves, moose, and caribou migrating across the plain.
