The Grand Canyon cuts nearly 280 miles through the Colorado Plateau of northern Arizona, exposing two billion years of geological history in layered bands of colour. Ken's photographs capture the canyon's shifting light — lavender at dawn, blazing copper at noon, and deep crimson as the sun sinks behind the South Rim. Few landscapes in the world so powerfully convey geological time.
